Schedule board
A day board with a lane per therapist, timetables that book recurring sessions, and a move tool for rescheduling a whole day.
Case study · Custom software · Mobile app · Website
“Their whole centre runs on software we built.”
Where it stands: The management platform is in daily use at the centre. The website redesign is live for the centre's review.

Little Wonders is a child development centre in City Centre, Gwalior. Every child starts with a functional assessment and then attends regular sessions across six disciplines — occupational therapy, speech therapy, ABA, special education, physiotherapy and speech & hearing — with several therapists each running their own day.
That makes the centre's work a scheduling, records and billing problem at once: which therapist sees which child when, what happened in each session, which family has credit left and who owes what — with clinical notes that must stay private and parents who want to know how their child is doing.
Off-the-shelf clinic software is built around a doctor's appointment. A therapy centre runs on recurring sessions, timetables and packages, so it needed software shaped to how it actually works.
We wrote the product down before building it: information architecture, database schema, API design, security model and a scale plan — built for the centre's roughly thousand active children today and designed to reach twenty thousand without a redesign.
One rule shaped every screen: the fewest clicks wins. Marking attendance, writing a session note or rescheduling is reachable in two interactions from each role's home screen. The schedule is a board you drag on, not a form you fill in.
Security was designed in, not added: capability-based permissions instead of role names, every child-scoped request checked, clinical free text encrypted field by field, soft delete so records can't be destroyed from the app, and a full audit trail.
Changes came from the centre itself. The owner's requests — a payments register, a daily report, therapists seeing every child assigned to them but never the session rate — were built, tested and shipped as the centre used the system.
A day board with a lane per therapist, timetables that book recurring sessions, and a move tool for rescheduling a whole day.
Profiles, enrolments, assigned therapists, milestones and session notes — clinical notes encrypted at rest.
Invoices, credits and dues per child, recharges that raise their own invoice, and a register to correct a wrong payment.
A daily report, week and month views, therapist load, attendance and revenue — printable for the owner.
A Flutter app for therapists and parents with phone sign-in and offline attendance and notes that sync later.
A redesign with a milestone checker, a 'where to start' guide for worried parents, therapy pages and parent guides.
