The challenge

Most businesses asking for an online store can't judge a proposal from a slide deck. They need to click through a real store — and see the parts customers never see: how a seller adds a product, how an order is packed and delivered, how a refund is approved.

So we built one. HAUL is a fictional store, but every screen in it is working software.

How we approached it

We designed it as a marketplace with four roles — customer, seller, delivery partner and admin — because that is the hardest shape of store to get right; a single-brand shop is a subset of it.

Every role can be tried on the live demo from a 'Viewing as' switch, so a client can see the whole business in one sitting.

Product photos are licensed stock and every name in the store is fictional, so nothing in the demo is mistaken for a real brand or person.

What we built

Storefront

Hero carousel, flash deals, category mega-menu, search, filters, compare and wishlist.

Checkout

Address book, coupons, UPI, card and cash-on-delivery flows, with order confirmation.

Orders & returns

Order history, live tracking, cancellation and returns for the customer.

Seller hub

KPIs and charts, a five-step product wizard, inventory, fulfilment, returns, payouts and ratings.

Delivery app

Today's route, picked and delivered states with OTP handover, and earnings.

Admin console

Analytics, users and roles, seller approvals, categories, homepage CMS, coupons, refunds and audit log.

Where it stands
  • The full store and all four dashboards are live as a demo anyone can try.
  • It is the live demo for Craftn Commerce, the e-commerce we build for clients — the same approach behind Simonex Lifestyle's storefront.
